Large Art Nouveau iridescent cachepot representing a collaborative work by ceramist Clément Massier( 1944-1911) and  the painter Lucien Levy Dhurmer ( 19865-1953).

With its inventive organic shape, the piece (identified in Massier's sales catalog as Cachepot Chaudron) seems to be softening under the intense sunshine of the French Riviera, where it was made.

Etched and painted beneath the golden luster glaze, realistic grape leaves and scrolling vines transform what might have been a functional object into a decorative luxury item.

Is worth nothing that there is a little crack ( about 1cm) on one of the feet. visible in the photo. All the rest is in mint condition.
